Hey guys! BjankyMiner has just sent in an old world seed that will be perfect for our next survive a seed challenge! In this seed, there will be a limited amount of trees and a limited amount of land, so you will really need to be careful about how you use the resources available. Take a look at the seed below!
Seed name: stay home play minecraft
Here is a bird’s eye view showing off most of this seed. As you can see, there are a few trees on the island in the top left, but besides from this, there are not many other trees around. The land is also very limited, and most of the world is covered in water!
You will need to swim to each island to make use of the resources you’ll be able to find. The island you start on will not have enough trees for you to get creating!
There are some interesting mountainous islands on this seed that you could use!

Hey guys! As you may already know, recently the Minecraft Pocket Edition team picked up a new member, and since then he has been working on developing the game alongside Tommaso and Johan. Since then, he’s already settled in to Mojang. I’ve got more news today about another developer that has just joined the same Pocket Edition development team!
The new developer is called Daniel Wustenhoff, and he has joined the Mojang offices just this week. Even though Daniel has only just settled in at Mojang, he has already been set with his first development task for Pocket Edition, and it might be something you’ll be very excited about!
Right now, Daniel is working on fishing for Minecraft Pocket Edition! Fishing is a feature that has been in the PC version for a long time, and over the years it has been developed into a very useful opportunity to get rare items and special fish that can heal you and give you other effects. So far, we know nothing about how the fishing will work in Minecraft Pocket Edition, but we can guess that it will either be a bit like the old version of MCPC fishing before the big fishing update was released, or it may end up very similar to how the current fishing works in Minecraft PC.
Either way, we can’t wait to see what features the new developer works on yet, and more importantly, we’re super excited to see when fishing is finally added to Minecraft Pocket Edition!
Hey guys! I have a really nice seed that I would like to share with you all! This seed was just sent in by YP49 and it features a load of interesting areas filled with cool terrain! Feel free to take a look at the seed below!
Seed name: pigpot
Seed type: Infinite world
First up, we have a picture showing off one of the really cool areas in this seed. This location has a large hill in it that has a waterfall pouring out of the top of an overhang. The waterfall falls down onto the hill below it, and trickles down the hill side! It looks super cool!
Here is another view of the same area. Behind the big hill with the waterfall there is a large overhang! I haven’t seen overhangs like this since update 0.8.0! There isn’t that much of a practical use for these kinds of overhangs but they do look very cool.
The waterfall on the hill falls down into a stream of water, and the stream flows down into a few areas worth checking out. The next image shows off the first place of interest that the stream flows to.
There are a few odd areas in this seed that you may notice among the crazy terrain. For example, there is a random spot in the world where there is a block of coal and two pieces of dirt.
Did you find any other awesome things in this seed? Feel free to leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.
